Chu Fong “Peggy”Lam is the firm’s translator and point of contact for many of the firm’s clients from China, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
Peggy previously worked as an official translator for the Courts Service.
Having been born in the province of Fujian in China, and grown up in Hong Kong, Peggy speaks and writes Mandarin, Cantonese and English fluently and she attends the office on a weekly basis to meet with overseas and Irish-resident clients.
Peggy has beentranslating for Williams Solicitors LLP since 2006.
Peggy holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business Studies from University of Wales. She holds a Masters of Science in Management from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Peggy is a qualified general insurance practitioner. She is also a qualified accounting technician. Peggy had attended the Overseas Chinese Teacher Training Program (Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China).
